| The most popular indoor home sauna layouts are equally ordered in sauna sizes of 5'x7', 6'x7' and 6'x8'. The most popular outdoor sauna sizes are the 6'x8', 7'x7' and 7'x8'. There is usually more room outside so the outdoor sauna can be made larger. |
| For simplicity, the sauna floor plans on this page are shown only as "left" sauna floor plan layouts. "Right" layouts, similar to these sauna layouts (as seen in a mirror) are available at Great Saunas. Just specify the "right model" when ordering and we'll do the rest. Sauna room sizes shown are inside frame-to-frame dimensions. |
| Single or double L-benches can be added to sauna room sizes that are 5'x6' and larger (consider adding the 3rd bench to the mid-size sauna floor plans below). Sauna room sizes 6'x7' and larger have room for 4 sauna benches in a 2-tier L-shape bench layout. The 6'x8' and 6'x9' sauna room sizes are the most ideal for home and family saunas as the full-width 2-tier L-shape 4-bench layout really works well for a true, great sauna.
